Liam is pacifier free! Since Tuesday of last week, Liam hasn't had a pacifier and for the most part it has been going great. He can still be fairly fussy when we put him down for a nap or at night, but he's also (finally!) cutting his first two teeth, so we think that's most of the fussing. Of course, he sometimes finds other things to suck on
but that's okay with us!
We're happy to say that he is also mostly sleeping through the night now. He still wakes up occasionally and needs a bottle, but we have a feeling that we're nearing the end of that too.
Micah is on his way to being potty-trained. He goes on the potty a lot now because we're bribing him with going to ride the monorail at Disney. He won't "go" for stickers or M&Ms or new matchbox cars, but he loves that monorail.
So after my mistake last week of telling him if he used the potty I would take him to Disney (wasn't expecting that he actually would do it - and he did so I had to take him!), I got smarter. Now he has to go ten times, and therefore collect ten stickers, before he can go ride the monorail again. Can't keep him away from the potty anymore! He happily sits on the frog potty in front of the picture of the monorail that I taped on the bathroom wall and does his business. Thank God for Disney!!
Although the dogs technically aren't allowed in the boys' rooms, Heinz nudged his way in earlier this week and slept on the floor at the foot of Micah's bed. His little protector. I thought it was cute so I took a picture...
...before I made him leave!
