We spent last week in Hilton Head with the Williams side of the family, resting and playing some sports and walking the beach and just having a relaxing time. It was a much-needed break.

Aunt Heidi and Mommy took Micah to Savannah one day so that he could ride the trolley on a city tour. Of course, we had to stop at a park in the middle of town.
My friend Steph wrote a Facebook status a while ago about how her son has really been amazing her on the playground with his willingness to try new things. Micah is much the same way. He tackled this chain ladder with no problem at all, and I would have thought that he wasn't ready for it if you had asked me before I saw him do it!

Although somewhat surreally trapped in time somewhere around the late-1800s, Savannah is truly a beautiful city, and I loved the old trees and the atmosphere that they added the town.

We had a little incident over lunch that involved me spilling water on Micah's shorts. He decided he no longer wanted to wear them because they were a little wet on the leg. And why in the world would I carry an extra pair of shorts with me? And why would any store in Savannah sell a child-sized pair of shorts? So Micah was shorts-less for a while. Clearly it didn't affect him too much.

Daddy and Micah worked on a sand castle together.
Liam just wanted to run around. We think he was amazed at the huge wide open space that the beach afforded him to just explore and practice walking.
