After I got him up, I came out to find him in the kitchen. There's something about the posture of toddlers that's remarkable. I'm not sure why they lose it.

We had a flu bug go through our house starting on Friday night and is still not totally gone. Liam remained untouched by it (although he had a slight fever this morning so we'll see) but Micah's fever got as high as 104.7. It broke Saturday night while he slept, and Sunday morning, Mother's Day, just before 7:00, I heard him talking to himself. I thought it was through the monitor so I got up and went to his room. No Micah. I looked all around the living and dining room. No Micah. I was just starting to get a little nervous (we don't have that big of a house!) when I found him. In the dog's crate. Reading a book. Happy Mother's Day to me!
For Mother's Day, we went out for GF pizza for dinner so I finally got my pizza from last weekend! Tim and the boys also gave me great cards, and Tim gave me this stone for our garden area:
He has given me one every year since Micah joined our family. Pretty soon, we're going to have to make a bigger garden area just to accommodate them!! But I love them. I think it's such a fun idea and a great way to remember how much they're growing. Micah's new thing is stepping into his old footprints now so he can see how big he is. I love it.
