Mommy's little helper

Last night, Micah, Liam, and I took a walk after dinner. It's already pretty hot here, but Micah had asked earlier in the day if we could go around the block so we managed to do our neighborhood's middle-sized block. I wanted to give our plants a quick drink since we're in the middle of a dry spell right now. So I got the hose out and asked Micah if he wanted to help. At first he was scared. I'm not sure that he'd ever seen a real hose that worked before. Then he warmed up to it and wanted to hold it. I ran inside to grab my camera and came back out to a wet boy, who wasn't too happy that he was wet. He jumped right back in though, with a little more instruction from Mommy, and did a great job! That is, until he turned the hose on himself again. Then we went inside and took a bath. You know. To get wet again, but this time on purpose!
