Pics from the Saikalys' visit

As promised, I wanted to post some pictures from the visit with our friend Sany, Steph, and Thomas. We love having people come and visit so that we can let them see how wonderful life is for us here. They get to see our church and meet our friends - not to mention see our beaches! So here are some snapshots from our time together. Thomas and Micah hung out in the double stroller when we first got to the beach. The water is really starting to warm up. The air temp was in the upper 80s and the water temp was probably mid-70s. Really great. Here's Sany introducing Thomas to the water of the gulf. A Saikaly family picture. A Black family picture - although it will soon be outdated when our next little boy joins us in just a little over two weeks! On Sunday we went to Downtown Disney to visit with the friends, Eric and Kelly, that I mentioned in the video post. I know, I know - we do Disney a lot. But wouldn't you if you lived so close to this fantastic playground that most people save up for years to come to?? Here are Thomas and Micah playing in the bins of legos kids can play with outside of the Lego Store. Behind them is Julianna, Eric and Kelly's younger daughter. Here's a still shot of Micah on the train. The little girl behind him is Alyssa, Eric and Kelly's older daughter. An action shot of the train ride. I really can't tell you how much he loved it. Next came the merry-go-round, where he sort of waved "hi" to me. Sany, Thomas, Micah, and Tim all together on the ride, although you couldn't really see Thomas behind his horse. A better shot of Sany and Thomas. Downtown Disney has one of those great fountains where the water comes up sporadically and you just never know when it's going to pop up. We had prepared for this and brought extra clothes for the kids in case they wanted to get wet. They certainly did! Here are Thomas, Julianna, Alyssa, and Micah being introduced to the fountain. Micah's seen and played in one of these before, so now he's getting brave and going in. A cool shot behind the drops. He's pretty wet in this picture, and he's running towards the parking lot that's behind me (I'm taking the picture). He's yelling, "Bus! Bus!" It's one of his favorite words, and one that he speaks clearly, which is interesting to us since the "s" at the end can sometimes be hard for kids to say. But he loves to say it and point out all the buses he sees. Thanks for visiting us, Saikalys! We look forward to hosting you again soon!
