Day in Orlando

Yesterday we packed up again and spent the day in Orlando. No, we didn't do Disney. We hung out at my parents' timeshare, which had great amenities for Micah. After lunch and his nap, and after his father and grandfather returned from getting soaked by the afternoon rainstorm while trying to play golf, our first stop was this fun indoor playground. The best part was that you had to be under 48" tall to get in so we knew Micah wouldn't be run over by some ginormous kid. This is a picture of the whole playground. Notice how high it goes and see if you can find our fearless Micah! (Well, fearless after he watched another kid do it so he knew how to do it himself. He's such an observer.) A close-up of him having fun with the netting. It was hard to get a clear shot because the camera focused on the netting, not on Micah. Next, it was on to the paddleboat ducks. My parents have been showing Micah these ducks each time he visited them there, and they kept promising he could ride one. Today was his lucky day! Daddy and Pop-Pop took him out on the water. Apparently, he said "duck" about 350 times during his ride. Doesn't he look like such a big kid in his lifejacket, holding Daddy's hand as they head out to the boat? Here they are riding! Micah was a little uncomfortable in his life jacket, and I thought that Daddy and Pop-Pop set a poor example by not wearing theirs, even though the guy running the joint said it was okay. Sailing away... Heading back to land. After the paddleboats, we took a dip in the pool. Tim had a good grip on Micah so he didn't decide to dip his head underwater and lose the tubes that he needs so much. Micah and Pop-Pop in the fountain area. Daddy and Micah explored everything too. As I was putting these pictures on the blog, I realized there aren't any of Liam, my mom, or myself. I guess we were always behind the camera - in the shade, most likely! I'll try to do better, especially since Liam's so new and it's fun to document how much he's changing.
