I actually got the boys to sit next to each other on the couch yesterday for a picture, and Micah even has his arm around Liam. It's a Fourth of July miracle...
...especially when you consider that this is how they posed one year ago! Much better.
It's been pretty rainy for the last few days, so the kids and I have had to get creative about fun things to do in the house. One day, Micah got out all (literally) of his matchbox cars and we lined them up on the rug. What you see in this picture is only about half of what he has.
Liam had fun with the fireman's hat.
They both had a little too much fun with an un-appreciative Heinz. A thought bubble above his head might read, "Remember when it was just us? Man, woman, and one dog? Why did you ever add to perfection with another dog and two of these crazy kids??"
We holidayed with Derek and Rebekah and their niece Faith at Maul Hall. Liam had a little fun with their dog, Scout.
They also gave Liam a belated birthday present - a book about baby animals that we will enjoy many times in the future!
