Uncle Matt comes to visit!

Uncle Matt came from Chicago this weekend to visit us and meet Liam for the first time. We love having him here, but we miss Aunt Kristin, who stayed home in Chicago because she has a broken foot. :( So far during Matt's visit, it's rained a lot. We got soaked trying to eat at the Cheesecake Factory on Thursday night, and we got wet trying to do Disney yesterday. It's so rare for Florida, but we're still grateful for any rain we get since we've been in the drought. We braved the weather anyway and walked around the free parts of Disney. We did Downtown Disney (complete with free chocolate squares from Ghiradelli and a visit to the Lego store) and then decided to take the monorail from Epcot to the resorts and walk around there. Here are Uncle Matt and Micah comparing cool t-shirts on the monorail. In case it's not clear, Uncle Matt's says, "Jesus Shaves" and Micah's says, "What happens in preschool stays in preschool". Uncle Matt arrived on Thursday afternoon and by Friday morning, Micah was saying, "Matt" and pointing right at him - great for a kid who has struggled to repeat things that we say. It usually takes him much longer to learn new words. He hasn't yet said "uncle", but we'll take it! They're deep in conversation on the monorail while I deal with Liam in the Snugli in the background. Daddy, Uncle Matt, and Micah ride the rail. Not sure why Micah looks so mad - he was pretty happy all day - but we like the picture anyway. More to come as we continue our visit!
