Micah starts preschool

Micah is starting preschool. I can't believe that time has flown by so fast and he's ready to go to preschool. I'm excited for him and ready to see how much he'll learn and grow during this next school year. He'll be in school Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and still have his speech therapy on Tuesday and Thursday for half an hour. Micah will be learning like crazy! Today was "Meet the Teacher" day, not an official school day. Micah will be a cub this year, and his teachers are Miss Pam and Miss Nicki. His name is on the top apple. The official welcome banner. No first-day fears for him - he let go of Tim's hand and ran right for the toys. It helps that his room for preschool is also his room for Sunday School. After exploring the trucks, it was time to check out the kitchen set. Back to the trucks. Liam was extremely uninterested, but seemed to tolerate being there well. Micah will be in class with his buddy Lloyd. It seems silly to say that they have been friends their whole lives since they're only two, but it's true - and it's great that they always have each other to hang out with. We were given instructions that he needed to have a backpack. For preschool. Not for homework or anything, but for extra clothes and shoes in case his get dirty or wet, especially after he starts potty-training. So we took him to Target immediately after going to school and got him one of the only boy backpacks left. It's Diego, who he doesn't watch yet, but it was small and he was able to carry it on his back or wheel it, whichever he chooses. Our big guy, ready to take on the world...
