Pictures from our visit to Pittsburgh

Last weekend, we joined the Alberta Clipper in spending the weekend in Pittsburgh. I've forgotten how cold -4 degrees really is, and underestimated how Micah would take it! He did pretty well. His new Steelers recliner, a Christmas gift from my parents, really helped. We entertained a few friends while were in town. Here's Micah's friend Thomas taking his turn in the Steelers chair. My parents have lots of hardwoord floors, and Micah quickly discovered that it's much easier to push things on those floors than it is on the carpet at our home in Florida. On Saturday, he literally pushed this chair through the kitchen, dining room, and down the hallway before he got it stuck on the living room rug. Micah's friends Ellie and Maddy. We were so excited to meet Maddy in person. Since her Halloween birth, we had only gotten to see pictures. Two other friends, Isabelle and Alexis. They found a common love in the Ritz crackers they lifted from Alexis's mom's purse. Daddy, Micah, and Pop-Pop getting ready to watch the Sunday afternoon games together. We left on Tuesday, and that morning it was finally warm enough to spend a few minutes outside so Micah could really experience snow. Here Pop-Pop and Micah are checking out the backyard. A happy little guy, bundled in his coat, mittens, and Steelers' hat, all of which are very foreign to him. But we had a great time and were grateful for the opportunity to visit our friends and family up north.
