A Steeler Update
Our Super Bowl Sunday didn't start off too well. We knew that he had a bad cold, but we didn't know that Micah was developing an ear infection at the time. So he was pretty fussy, and just not happy with anything that we gave him to eat. So here he is protesting in his high chair.
Later on, he was a little happier and running around and diving into our arms.
I tried to get a Mommy and me picture of the two of us, me in my Steelers yellow and black, and Micah in his actual Steelers shirt.
Here's a Daddy and Micah picture - ready for kickoff!
Riding his fire truck before the big game.
Micah didn't quite get the hang of waving the Terrible Towel, but he did hold it for a while. He went to bed shortly after this but didn't sleep through the night. Apparently he was too excited and could sense (or hear his mother quietly yelling in the other room) the excitement of the game, because he joined us in the middle of the fourth quarter. He only wanted to lay on us, so we watched all the drama of the last five minutes of the game unfold with all the lights off in the living room and the sound down to almost muted. Can you imagine the silent screams going up in our house that night?? Ah, what we do for our children.
This is how the dogs spent the game. They weren't too excited, I guess.

Well even when he is fussy, he is TOO CUTE! I am so glad I stole your idea for a blog to keep people updated. (I think people should always steal ideas from smart friends....and you're pretty darn smart). I am so glad that you guys are doing better now that Micah is feeling better! We miss you. Hugs!
