Back to Normal

We're happy to report that Micah is pretty much back to normal. He's laughing and giggling and squealing and playing and getting into trouble and throwing tantrums again. It's really wonderful, although I could do without the tantrums. Of course, I'll take the tantrums over the hospital any day of the week and twice on Sundays. Because he's still off from daycare this week, I'm getting to spend some precious time with Micah during the day. It seems that Tim always gets the naptimes and I get the awake times, but that's alright. One of Micah's new tricks is going into our closet and pulling down all of our shoes from the shoe rack. Today he came out wearing one of my sandals. Later we built things with legos. Here he is, smiling and happy again. He's still not using his right hand very much, although he's using it more and more every day. He'll use it to hold his sippy cup, but not to help himself get up when he's fallen. It's amazing, because he seems to know innately what he can and can't do with the hand. Thanks for indulging the utter normalcy of these pictures and this post. After the last few days, we've grown to appreciate normal like we never have before.
