Patriotic Preparations

While doing our weekly grocery shopping, the boys and I could not resist the patriotic Pillsbury cupcakes.  I fell for the cute stars in the mix, and when we found pre-made blue icing at Aldi, we were sold.  So Liam and I baked the cupcakes, and Liam and Micah decorated them.  First came the icing...

Then we added sprinkles for the finished product.  Very American if I do say so myself.

And then, of course, there was the critical tasting portion of the project.

It's difficult to tell, but I think they enjoyed them.  Happy early 4th!!
