Liam eats peas!
When we started feeding Micah baby food, beyond the cereal, I bought it all. The daycare wouldn't take homemade food and I didn't think I had the time to do it anyway. With Liam, I thought I would give it a shot. It is way less expensive to make the food - one sweet potato will provide Liam 14 servings (ice cube size). The potato cost around $1. If I had purchased the baby food jars, I would have paid at least $10 for the same amount of food.
Tonight, Liam tried peas for the first time. Not so fond of the initial bite.
Then he decided that they were at least tolerable, and decided to give me a big beautiful smile in the middle of his meal.
By the end, he wasn't so sure again. But all in all, I would consider it a successful first try at real food.
