Micah in his own personal Mecca
I know - we go to Disney a lot. But this outing on Friday was a little different. My friend Wendy and I each took our children to Epcot by ourselves. Tim came along, but went to the Magic Kingdom on his own because we had already determined that we were going before he decided to tag along. The time had its ups and downs, and here's a recap.
In one of the places in Epcot, there is a full-size garbage truck. I had no idea or we would have already been here many times before. Micah is obsessed with garbage trucks. Loves them. We have no idea why. Here he is, staring at the garbage truck right there in front of him.
Micah's friend Lloyd loves garbage trucks almost as much as Micah so they posed together. Micah's shirt says it all - "I dig trucks".
Mommy and Micah in front of the truck. It was really hard to get him to look at the camera long enough to have the picture taken!
At one point, we found this life-sized puzzle. Puzzles are a close third love for Micah, right behind the garbage truck and all other modes of transportation.
At the end of the "Spaceship Earth" ride, Micah and Lloyd found a car that they could drive. They took turns. First Lloyd drove and Micah worked the gear and pushed the button...
...and then Micah drove (very intently!) and Lloyd pushed the button.
At the aquarium. Not a great shot, but as the day went on, it got even harder to get the two of them to stand still for a picture!
By the way, Liam was there, but spend most of his time strapped in the Snuggli, which he really enjoyed. We just don't have photographic evidence of it!
