Liam is 6 weeks old - and celebrates with several outfit changes

Today Liam turned six weeks old. He celebrated by sleeping 5 1/2 hours straight last night. Woo hoo! The rest of the night wasn't great, but the first 5 1/2 made the rest of it a little better. You can't tell in this picture, but the front of his onesie says, "the cutest". He really is - except at 3:15 in the morning. No one is cute at 3:15 in the morning. I guess he's still the cutest of the non-cute though! Liam's motto today has been, "I change clothes more times before 10 a.m. than most people do all day." Right after I took his picture, he threw up on the cutest onesie. So I changed him into this orange one, which is from Eric Carle's The Very Hungry Caterpillar. I thought it was cute on him, and something other than strict blue or green boy colors, so I took a picture. About ten minutes after I took the picture, he threw up on that one so I put him in his third outfit for the day. I think he was a little upset about all the clothes changes! This time I got smart and put a bib on. Notice it's an Eat-n-Park smiley faced cookie bib. Thanks, Aunt Sarah and Uncle Ross, for the little taste of the 'Burgh on a bib! An odd inclusion, I know, to have a picture of my coffee mug. But the funniest thing Micah's been saying lately occurs when he sees my mug. He points right at it and says, "Mommy's juice". He does the same thing with Tim's mug. It's so precious. And sometimes the "juice" is all that gets me through the day! So last night, Micah was hungry for a snack before bed. I asked him if he wanted some yogurt and he said no. He was watching me unpack groceries at the time, and saw me put the package of peas in the fridge. He pointed right at them and said, "Peas?" I asked him if he wanted some peas and he signed yes. So at 8:30 last night, instead of a much more fun snack, our 22-month-old ate peas. Two helpings. Voluntarily. I'm cherishing this because I have a feeling these days of requesting peas won't last. I took a picture of the garbage truck this morning for Micah. One of his favorite things to say is garbage truck, and he loves to say it about every truck we pass while we're driving! Finally a fun picture of me and Micah on the porch last night, watching the rain for a couple of minutes. He didn't want to take the picture, but he's so cute I couldn't resist.

If you're up after 4:15 your time, we could catch up by phone. Timothy can't seem to get past 3-3:30 without a need to eat.
