I wanted to start with really good picture of Heidi and Micah before I jump into a description of what else we did this week. This was on her last day. We made a little trip to Dairy Queen, and Heidi and Micah posed for a really cute picture.

Last weekend, Aunt Heidi came to visit Micah - and us. She stayed from Friday through Tuesday, and ended up missing a huge snowstorm in Boston. Even though the temperature sank to (gasp) the low 60s by the end of her visit, we all agreed it was much better for her here than it would have been in Boston. The irony was that we couldn't get away from Boston! Here we are at a park in Tampa, ready to go for a walk on Bayshore Street. There was a restaurant there called "Taste of Boston". We had to get a picture, but we don't think Micah got the irony.

It's a bad picture of me, but a good idea of how beautiful this walk is.

Micah was ready to dive right in the water.

Aunt Heidi brought Micah this adorable shirt and a pair of shorts. We kept the shirt on, but it was too cold to wear the shorts.

A giggling little boy.

We spent part of Monday at Downtown Disney, where you can roam shops and see some Disney stuff without paying any admission fee. We ate at the Rainforest Cafe, where your dining experience comes complete with very real-looking jungle animals and a fake rainshower every half an hour. We don't think Micah understood that the animals weren't real. He kept staring at them all throughout the meal.

Mommy and Micah posing with the large giraffe outside of the Rainforest Cafe. Giraffes are his favorite animal right now, and he couldn't get over how huge this one was!

They have a really cool Lego shop there, and outside of it are several big bins of legos that you can use to build a toy. Daddy and Micah spent a few minutes playing with legos, another one of Micah's favorite activities.

On Monday night, we braved the chilly (low 50s) temps to go to Tim's softball game. He plays on a team with other men from the church. They didn't win, but it was a closer game than a lot of them are. We had fun cheering, and Micah had fun running all around and not paying attention to the game. Aunt Heidi had fun chasing him!

It's always funny to hear you guys say, "Oh, we just went over to Disney World for a few hours." While I don't envy your weather, I do envy your proximity to the happiest place on earth. I wonder if they'd consider putting a park in Wisconsin. We have the waterpark capital of the world 75 minutes away, though. That's fun, too. You guys look great! Miss you!
