It turns out that moving, getting a new computer, and working both a full- and part-time job keep me away from blogging. The miracle of Easter has turned into a miracle blog entry!
Our new church has a great setup for the kids, and we loved participating! Here is Viv, getting ready to go get her some eggs.
Sharing some tips on how to get the most eggs with her friend.
So it turns out when you tell Vivi to get ready to take a picture, she yells "Cheese" and looks everywhere but the camera. Clearly the boys have had more years of experience in this area!
The whole group, ready to hear the Easter story and search for some eggs!
This is the first year that all three of the kids were split into different age groups. Since Tim and I are only two people, we let Micah fend for himself (which he loved), Tim went with Vivi, and I went with Liam. The camera went with me and so I have lots of pics of Liam getting his eggs. And, he's off!
This hunt was a little different than our previous ones in Florida. We had to bundle up a lot more, and we got to search in the edge of some woods for our eggs!
I went around the building to try to get a shot of Micah hunting his eggs, and I was too late - I found him in the fellowship hall already digging in to his loot.
All three, pre-sugar.
At home, we dyed our Easter eggs. Colorful and delicious.
Liam got a lot of different stickers in his Easter eggs. The only thing to do was put them all on at once, of course.
This year, our family decided to participate in "Passion Into Action", which is a campaign started by a fellow adoptive mom. She coordinates the sale of t-shirts for Easter, and the profits from the sale are donated to a different charity each year. So instead of spending our money on new Easter clothes, we all bought t-shirts and wore those to church today.
After church, we headed to Tim's Aunt Bobbi's house and spent some time with her family. Vivi has really loved spending time with Daddy Paul, Tim's grandfather. She captivated his time today, talking to him, bringing him slices of cheese, and walking with him all around the yard. It was such a beautiful sight to see a 3-year-old with her 94-year-old great-grandfather.
Finally, one last picture of all three gathered together, smiling, and looking at the camera. Happy Easter 2015!
