Hilton Head, Part III

Tim and I took a walk with Micah on Friday and we took him to see the birds on this little sandbar. They were just hanging out, sunning themselves. Micah became fascinated with his shadow so he and Mommy spent a little time studying theirs. Micah really wanted to play with the birds. Unfortunately, the feeling was not mutual. He's pretty tenacious and kept approaching them until they all flew away. Notice the wet pants. It's really hard to keep your balance on uneven sand when you're learning to walk. It's even harder to understand that you can't move your feet when they sink in the wet sand. On our last night, we went out to the yummy Bonefish Grill for dinner, which is one of Tim's and my favorite restaurants. The high chair they gave us for Micah was so low that I had to take a picture from of him from his perspective. By the way, he ate a lot at this meal as well. A lot. I took this picture of everyone at the restaurant. Apparently, I had my thumb over the flash, which explains why my mother is shrouded in darkness. But what I thought was funny about this picture was that Micah turned around like a seasoned pro and posed for the picture! A family portrait outside of the restaurant - before Cold Stone, where Micah managed to eat more food. We loved our vacation and despite the amount of pictures, it just wasn't long enough. Thanks, Williamses!
