As any parent can most likely attest to, seeing your child get his shots is not a fun experience. Micah got his two month shots (five of them!) on Monday. To his credit, he was handling his doctor's visit very well - until we had to wait about fifteen minutes in the room for the doctor. He started to lost it about two minutes before she walked and kept on losing it until she was done examining him and he had received his shots. We thought he wasn't going to have any adverse effects, but then Tuesday rolled around. Micah woke up very unhappy and very hot with a 102 degree fever. We gave thanks for Children's Tylenol and had a dose every four hours or so. This morning he woke up smiling, much more like himself. The above picture is him in his swing on Monday, sleeping off the effects of the of the shots. You can't see them, but he has two bandaids, one on each leg. He's a little trouper...and he LOVES his swing, shots or no shots.
