We're ba-ack

Please try to read the title of this post with appropriate poltergeist-ness.

We've been doing a lot since Micah graduated, but none of it has been captured on film apparently.  I used to be so good at grabbing my camera.  Now I'm much more inclined to grab the hand of a wayward boy than I am my trusty Canon.

But I did manage to get some pictures and video of tonight's "closing ceremonies" (loving the Olympics already and it's only the opening ceremonies tonight) of Vacation Bible School. I don't get to volunteer anymore because I work during the day, but the kids get to go and they love it.  Adore it.  This year's theme was Sonrise National Parks.  So they learned about God's power, love, riches, trust, and truth in the context of the national parks.

Micah was a Mighty Moose and Liam was a Laughing Lizard, and I just now realized that the first letter of their names fit in with the name of their groups.  Sometimes it take typing things to realize the obvious, I guess.

So here are the pictures. The sanctuary was decorated like you were camping in a national park.
Liam with one of his guides, Noah.  I think he saw himself on the screen where they were showing pictures from the week.
Micah waiting his turn to sing.
Liam with another of his group guides, Rachel.  Being the cuddler that he is, he seeks out all the leaders that will let him sit on their laps!
I didn't take many pictures, but I did get some good video.  They're both really featuring Liam because although he did a great job keeping his hands to himself, Micah didn't do a lot of singing or song gestures.
This next video of Liam is just fantastic.  I am so irritated that I took it up and down, and therefore it's turning out sideways on my computer.  If anyone knows how to fix it or rotate it somehow, please let me know.  He is just belting his little heart out, and it's all about Jesus.
