Pet Parade

Yesterday was the (fake) pet parade at school.  It's good that it was with stuffed animals because I don't think Heinz and Samson could have contained themselves around all of the kids.
The parade capped a week of learning all about different kinds of animals and the kids were encouraged to bring a "pet" from home to be in the parade.  From his cadre of animals, Micah chose Max, the stuffed dog that he coerced the dental hygienist into giving him the last time he was in the chair.  He named the dog all by himself and we have no idea why he chose that name. Max (we're told by Micah) had fun in the parade. Max also sleeps with Micah every night.

Of course, other animals get to share in that privilege as well. :)
