Fall Festival at First Presbyterian Preschool
Last week, Micah's preschool had their fall festival. It's just a chance for the kids to spend half an hour of their day playing games and winning little prizes. Micah had a great time - he was particularly obsessed with the duck pond game. You're supposed to "fish" for a duck using a stick with a magnet attached, which will attract the magnet attached to the head of each plastic duck in the pond. Then each duck has a symbol on the bottom that corresponds with a prize bucket, where the kid can pick what they want. But who needs to do it that way when you can just reach in and pick the duck you want?
In a brief moment away from the ducks, Micah and his buddy (and classmate) Lloyd played with a parachute that the kids bounced little balls on.
Back to the ducks. Daddy was trying to talk him into trying something else.
Who needs to actually throw the bean bag through the hole when you can just walk right up to the hole and drop it through?
The only way we could get Micah to put his head in this for the picture was to have Daddy stand with him. Turned out to be a really cute shot!
Refusing to wave the ribbons and dance.
The best shot I had of Micah's class all lined up against the wall together. Unfortunately, Micah's showing the world his belly button in it! After spending just half an hour with this class of two-year-olds, I'm amazed at the giftedness of his teachers, Ms. Pam and Ms. Nicki. To know that it only took them a month to get the kids to all line up together at the same time against a wall is to know that they work miracles!
